PSR Family Dinner on 9.22.21
It was heartwarming to have such a wonderful turnout on a chilly fall evening at our first PSR Family Dinner this past Wednesday. We had the opportunity to play games, get know one another better, get reacquainted with old friends, and welcome Father Weber over plates of mostaccioli, salad and bread. All of this warmed by the light and heat of a cozy fire. Much like the heat and warmth of that fire, the PSR catechists and many volunteers came together to help us all live out our vocation of Christian discipleship.
When each of us let our light shine, the way we live and our deeds glorify God so that others can more easily see and feel the love and mercy of Christ. St. Vincent DePaul, whose feast day is coming up (September 27), once stated “If love of God is a fire, zeal is its flame; if love is a sun, zeal is its ray.”
This year at PSR we will have a monthly opportunity for the entire parish to join us as we grow together as a parish community and learn to let our lights shine.
